Debbie Rakusin

Award winning Choreographer Debbie Rakusin has established herself as one of the leading Choreographers is South Africa. Over the years she has successfully explored the fusion of varied jazz, contemporary, African and tap styles. Taught at The Pretoria Technicon for 14 years in the Jazz and Tap department. Her Awards include: Standard Bank Young Artist Award, FNB Vita for Most Outstanding Choreographer, Breaking Barriers Award and Naledi Awards. Debbie has choreographed for major South African Musicals, her highlight being AFRICAN FOOTPRINT having run for 16 years worldwide.

Quintus Jansen

Quintus Jansen is an internationally qualified adjudicator with the International Dance Teachers Association, World Dance Council & DanceSport South Africa. He is the Director for World Of Dance South Africa and founder and Organiser of the Crystal Velvet Ball & The Platform. He has been a choreographer on So You Think You Can Dance, Strictly Come Dancing, Dans In Jou Taal & Dancing With The Stars. He also holds an Entrepreneurial MBA and a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing. 


Cleo Notcutt

Cleo is a young, motivated, versatile dancer who started to dance in her mother’s dance studio. Her training covered many dance styles as she has been exposed to different stages and opportunities. After high school Cleo started her journey as a top 16 finalist in the SATV show “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 2. She represented South Africa twice at the Las Vegas World Hip Hop International Championships and put together and trained various dance groups for competitions overseas. Cleo studied dance at the Broadway Dance Centre in New York City, winning the “Outstanding Student Award” after being there for only 3 months.

Eunice Marais

Eunice Marais is passionate about the upliftment of youth, providing extraordinary dance opportunities to young dancers from all walks of life. Her studio EMSD, provides Modern, Jazz, Show Dance, Hip Hop and Contemporary. Eunice is the co-director of ‘High Performance Dance Education’ which bridges the gap between studio dancing and the professional industry. She is also the co-director of ‘The Connexion’ which is a company for professional dancers.
